**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Activities Director to oversee and coordinate a variety of recreational and educational programs for our [community, senior center, school, etc.]. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Program Development:**
- Design and implement a comprehensive schedule of activities, including arts and crafts, fitness classes, social events, and educational workshops.
- Evaluate and adapt programs based on participant feedback and emerging interests.
2. **Leadership & Supervision:**
- Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers, ensuring that they understand their roles and the objectives of each program.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
3. **Community Engagement:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners.
- Promote programs through outreach efforts such as social media, newsletters, and community events.
4. **Budget Management:**
- Develop and manage the activities budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities and grants to support program initiatives.
5. **Event Coordination:**
- Organize and execute special events, ensuring that each gathering aligns with participant interests and community values.
- Collaborate with other departments or external organizations to host joint events.
6. **Evaluation & Reporting:**
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs through participant feedback, attendance records, and other metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for management regarding program success, improvements, and community impact.
7. **Compliance & Safety:**
- Ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures to address potential risks during activities.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Education, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum [2 years] of experience in program development, activities coordination, or a related area.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic social media platforms.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
