Salary: $17.25 - 19.00 per hour + none

We're hiring detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing & Assembly Technicians to join two different teams in Duluth, MN. We have immediate, temp-to-hire openings for skilled candidates proficient in assembly and testing. These are both first-shift positions with no weekends, offering the potential for long-term career growth.



Responsibilities:

• In these roles, you will be performing a variety of essential duties, including:
• Assembly and Production: Performing repetitive workstation or line assembly tasks to produce electronic devices, cables, and wire harnesses.
• Specialized Techniques: Using hand tools for crimping, tinning, and soldering electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Quality Assurance: Reporting non-conforming materials, and providing technical assistance for quality issues. You may also be involved in testing products, preparing test run records, and identifying yield problems.
• Lean Initiatives: Participating in and providing technical assistance for lean manufacturing improvements and initiatives.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and following all prescribed safety regulations.

Skills & Qaulifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience OR post-secondary education in electronics technology or similar preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in winding, soldering, encapsulation, and assembly techniques.
• Technical Skills: The ability to read and interpret process instructions and other documents. Mathematical skills are also a must, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with coworkers and management.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
