Join a dynamic tax team at a leading law firm, where you will work on complex transactional tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investment partnerships, and renewable energy projects. This mid-level associate role offers the opportunity to provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice to a diverse client base, including law firms, accounting firms, and investment banks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on M&A transactions, financing transactions, and portfolio investments.
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Provide state tax planning advice to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on tax structuring strategies.
• Stay informed on federal tax credits and incentives for renewable energy projects.

Qualifications :

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school; LLM in tax preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• Minimum of four years of transactional tax experience in a law firm.
• Background in energy, real estate, or international taxation preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• This position requires in-office presence approximately 60% of the time in accordance with firm guidelines
