WG is currently looking for an Entry Level/Experienced Audit Associate to join our rapidly growing Audit team. As an Audit Associate, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your professional career through ongoing training, collaborating with colleagues on multiple engagements, and experiencing direct coaching and mentoring from our talented Audit team. You will gain exposure to various industries including Manufacturing and Distribution, Real Estate, Life Sciences, Employee Benefit Plans, Technology, Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, and many more! In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring our clients are provided outstanding service.
Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
Prepare accurate and organized workpapers to support audit findings
Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
Collaborate with engagement team to complete engagements within timelines and budgets
Utilize analytical skills to handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent client service
Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; current CPA license is a plus
0-2 years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
Exposure servicing a broad range of industries such as real estate, 401k, yellow book, life science, manufacturing and technology
Ability to complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
Possess and demonstrate strong understanding and alignment with our firm’s core values of Honesty and Candor, Continual Learning, Innovation, Mentorship, Leadership, Team Player and Commitment to Client Service.
