Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while collaborating with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior change.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify underlying issues affecting client behavior.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience in special education or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to patient care outcomes.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
