Job Description

Summary:

Parabit Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper with an emphasis on Accounts Receivable to join our Finance Team. This role supports day-to-day financial operations and ensures accurate, timely processing of transactions in support of a growing technology manufacturer and integrator.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

• Process customer invoices, apply payments, and maintain accurate aging reports
• Monitor outstanding balances and support collection efforts as needed
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of deposits and related entries

Accounts Payable

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks
• Generate check runs and schedule payments in accordance with company procedures
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Assist with monthly financial close, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policy
• Prepare routine financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements

General

• Support the Finance Team with special projects and cross-functional tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and controls

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices
• Strong organization, time-management, and follow-through
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
