Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Box Truck Driver to join our 2nd shift team in Whippany, NJ. As a Box Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. If you enjoy driving, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to providing excellent service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Operate a box truck to transport goods to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Load and unload pallets onto the truck, ensuring that all items are secured and handled with care.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and internal team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Assist with inventory management and organization at the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role.
Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
