Job Description
A leader in the health insurance space (Medicaid/Medicare) space is actively hiring for a REMOTE Sr. Business Systems Analyst to own the requirements of their Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) business platform. This is a small IT Team of 3 people that are all responsible for delivering technical projects for the PBM line of business. As the Systems Analyst you will leverage your SDLC knowledge to drive projects involving changes and enhancements to systems while also driving communications with vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have a high level understanding of web technologies, APIs, data integration and exchange for Microsoft based technologies as this is a .NET based platform. This person must be comfortable working in a high-intensity, fast paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
Gather and document business requirements
Document technical specifications of the platform
Drive communications with external vendor partners
Troubleshoot issues in support of business partners

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in the healthcare field
6+ years driving projects for web technology projects (APIS, data integration, data exchange, etc.)
5+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements for Microsoft (.NET) based systems
experience in a business environment with project management and process re-engineering concentration.
must be comfortable in a fast paced high intensity environment -experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) space
