Great, all you’ll need is some training with specific clients and you will be ready to jump right in. Not only does that experience count, it tells us about the person behind the skills. We always do our best to match you with the right clients and make adjustments when things just don’t feel right. We provide on the job training and online training. Our Client Services Managers come with a wealth of knowledge and will be there to help you through new or challenging situations. We also have staff on call 24/7, so there is always somewhere to turn. What would your typical day look like? If you are content waking up every day and having a fool proof plan of what the day will bring that’s okay, but this may not be the position for you. If you are someone who can adapt to change and go with the flow, knowing days often won’t be typical, you will thrive with us. Some days are wonderful; you won’t believe you are being paid for what feels like hanging out with your parents or grandparents, laughing, getting lost in their stories of times gone by and absorbing their wisdom. Other days, you are fully immersed into the harsh reality of aging and the family dynamics that come along with it. Your job would be to enjoy the good times while making the hard times the best they can be. Your duties may include personal care, transportation, meal prep, housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship and other non-medical assistance as needed. Our client’s needs range from an occasional ride to 24/7 complete care through their last breath. It’s important to understand that our clients live in Bennington and the surrounding areas. Our responsibility to them remains the same regardless of where they live or what the weather brings. Why should you choose to work for At Home Senior Care? • A flexible schedule- shorts shifts for when you have a few hours to spare, long shifts for when you need to work full time but want free time too and everything in between.
• Full time -30 plus hours a week including every other weekend
• Part time -15-30 hours a week including 2 weekend days per month
• Per diem - less than 15 hour a week or on call
