Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Civil Aviation Project Manager to lead and manage aviation-related projects, with a focus on both airside and landside design. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting client expectations. You will also work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality design solutions and contribute to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Lead and manage civil aviation projects by implementing project management policies and procedures.
Define the scope of services, negotiate fees, and manage the team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Identify and communicate additional service needs to clients and work to secure additional fees.
Work closely with project accountants to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing and assist with collections when needed.
Achieve high client satisfaction by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
Engineering:

Serve as Engineer of Record when required.
Develop engineering solutions that meet client needs and ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Implement quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet high standards.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for engineering tasks.
Assist in the preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
Lead design project teams for aviation airside and/or landside projects.
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide guidance and support to design staff as needed.
Familiarity with FAA regulations, airport infrastructure, pavement design, and FAAR Field Design Software is preferred.
Business Development:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and past clients.
Actively seek business development opportunities through client marketing.
Contribute to industry organizations and enhance company branding through social media and internal communications.
Lead or participate in business development efforts, including Go/NoGo decisions, technical write-ups, presentations, and interviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in civil aviation project management.
Proven experience managing projects of varying size and complexity, including multi-disciplinary services.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
