We are looking for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager with 8–10 years of experience to join our Urban Development team in Dallas, Texas. This position plays a pivotal leadership role in the delivery of civil engineering projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and beyond. As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for managing projects, mentoring junior staff, collaborating with clients, and supporting business development efforts.

Lead civil engineering projects from concept through construction documentation.
Prepare preliminary engineering reports, site layouts, and construction drawings.
Research jurisdictional requirements and ensure compliance with local and regional standards.
Oversee development of design documents using AutoCAD , Civil 3D , and MicroStation .
Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent projects.
Conduct site visits and document findings to inform design and construction decisions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients—ensuring satisfaction, responsiveness, and quality delivery.
Supervise, train, and mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff with varied experience levels.
Lead project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and client check-ins.
Collaborate across disciplines and departments to ensure project success.
Assist with proposal development, cost estimates, and pursuit strategies for new work.
Prepare project work plans, schedules, and forecasting documentation.
Track performance metrics and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards and QMS protocols.
Participate in internal business processes and weekly planning routines.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
Registered Professional Engineer in Texas
8–10 years of experience in civil engineering design; at least 2 years in a project management role
Strong background in Urban Development projects preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD , Civil 3D , and/or MicroStation
Skilled in ArcGIS , Microsoft Word , Excel , and Project
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Confident in leading client meetings, coordinating teams, and mentoring junior staff
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
