Job Title: Clinical Dietitian
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6-month Contract
Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hr
Schedule: Part-time (Alternates between 2 days/week and 3 days/week)
Shift Times: Daily shifts are either 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Breaks: Includes a 60-minute break per shift
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Dietitian for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Program Completion: Completion of an ACEND accredited program in dietetics (Required)
Certification/Licensure:
Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD credential) (Required)
NYS certification as a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) (Required)
Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapy (Required)
Experience: Prior experience in an acute care inpatient setting (i.e., a hospital)
Responsibilities:
Assess and develop personalized nutrition care plans for patients.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and modify care plans.
Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and staff.
Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
