Requirements
5+ yrs of working experience as a senior compliance officer at a large financial firm. At least 10 years of working experience in the financial industry. Relevant certifications are a + 4 year degree is required
deep understanding of data protection and privacy laws and best practices
o thorough knowledge of GDPR in local data privacy regulations and relevant legal frameworks
Technical expertise
familiarity with data processing systems security technologies and data governance practices
strong analytical skills
ability to assess complex data processing scenarios identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
excellent communication skills
Consultative approach
ability to provide tailored advice and recommendations based on specific organizational needs
Project Management skills are required to effectively manage data protection projects from planning to implementation
