Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our awesome team in Muncie!

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of Saving Lives Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor/Social Workers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.

Requirements

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:

• Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health field. Masters Degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Masters Degree in behavioral science as defined above.
• License: LMHC LMHCA LSW LCSW LMFT LCAC LAC
