Job Description:

One of our top clients is seeking a talented and passionate Defense Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of immigration law, particularly removal defense, and a passion for advocating for the rights of immigrants.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and appeals
Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and declarations
Conduct legal research and analysis
Interview clients and gather necessary documentation
Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other legal professionals
Stay up-to-date on immigration law and policy changes

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
At least one year of experience in removal defense
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for advocating for the rights of immigrants
