Dental Assistant Full-Time - Flagstaff Dentistry 4 Kids

We have the job for you! Flagstaff Dentistry 4 Kidsis offering on-the-job training for those aspiring to work in the dental field. No prior education or experience is required. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

EXPERIENCE:2+ years in customer service, medical office setting preferred

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 

PAY: Starting at $19

BONUS PAY: up to $500 additional per month

Dental Assistants perform a variety of procedures. YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;
  (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
