Job Description
We are a dental recruiting company helping a very reputable & privately owned office hire a dental hygienist. One of their long term hygienists is retiring soon. They are seeking a full time or a part time hygienist depending on preference. They have a lot of flexibility for any days between Mondays and Thursdays.
The office has been in the community for many years and has established a wonderful reputation. They're averaging 4.9 stars out of over 300 online reviews! They have an amazing team of hygienists, assistants and front desk that all work very well together. The working atmosphere is professional but fun! They provide plenty of time for appointments, that way the hygienists don't feel rushed. They also have a beautiful office with all state of the art equipment.
You will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. This position is essential for enhancing patient experiences and supporting dental practices in delivering exceptional services.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to ensure optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support as needed.
Review patient medical histories to identify any potential issues or concerns.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on enhancing patient comfort and satisfaction.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Basic knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential.
Compensation:
Between $45 and $51 per hour
Dental benefits for them and their immediate family
Retirement plan with a 4% match
$2,500 bonus after their first year of employment for full time hygienists
