Our private pediatric dental practice is seeking an upbeat, friendly and highly organized Front Desk to join our team. Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to patients, manage office operations, and ensure a smooth flow of communication among staff members. This role requires a strong understanding of dental receptionist responsibilities, scheduling, and financial coordinating roles.
Duties:
- Greet patients and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment bookings
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on care plans and dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with scheduling and office administrative tasks
- Utilize Dentrix systems to manage patient data and scheduling
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely treatment and minimize delays
- Perform other administrative duties as required

HOURS/DAYS:
Mon 7:30 - 5 (1 ½ hour lunch daily!!)
TUES: 8:30 - 7 (on the daily lunch, the doc goes to the hospital which is 2 blocks away and you can go with him and get a free lunch)
WEDS 8 - 7
THURS: 8 - 6
FRI: 7:30 - 3 or 4 depending on end as this is surgery day (Breakfast AND Lunch on this day is bought by the doctor for everyone)
Every 3rd SATURDAY 9am -12pm (and on that week, you are off on WEDS)
This is a 40 hour week. If you work over time, it is rare but he pays time and a half.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year dental office/front desk experience
- Proficiency in using Dentrix
- HONEST, reliable, friendly, team player, dependable, professional
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Benefits
PAY: range is $25 - 30 (for an extraordinary candidate, would consider more, up to 32)
Pay is twice a month on the 6th and 21st
BONUS SYSTEM: there is a great bonus system which he will email to me.
