Directional Drill Locator - Denver/Greeley, CO

Glass Roots Construction (GRC) is a new team, founded by a team of well-funded career telecom and construction professionals. We look to leverage the latest technologies, best-in-industry equipment, and up-to-date construction and safety practices to build a first-class fiber optic utility construction firm in multiple markets throughout the US. We are in need of skilled Directional Drill Locators who are local to the Evans area or willing to relocate. This position will report to the Market Manager and represents an opportunity to join an awesome team on the ground floor, learn a lot, and have a ton of fun as GRC grows!

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Operating directional drill locating equipment and product support equipment
• Safely operates drill equipment on job site which may include but not limited to the following: Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving Equipment / Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer
• Reads utility, locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities
• Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the job site
• Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
• Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
• Will be involved in new site Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
• Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
• May be required to work overtime; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
• Ability to follow instruction

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 12-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute or relocate:

• Denver/Greeley, CO

Experience:

• Directional Drill Locating: 1 year (Required)
• Falcon F5 experience preferred

Requirements :

• A valid driver's license is required for all positions.

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
