The Casey Auto Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our comprehensive marketing efforts!
This is a unique opportunity to manage a full-service in-house agency and drive the marketing strategy for seven major automotive franchises, a collision center, and a full-service credit facility.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and executing the entire marketing ecosystem for the Casey Auto Group.
Strategic Planning & Insight
- Regularly present marketing insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership for a multi-franchise auto group, collision center, and credit facility.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans for product launches, brand campaigns, and corporate initiatives, focused on increasing sales and market share.
- Work collaboratively with national agencies for Chevrolet, Subaru, Kia, Toyota, and Honda to ensure efficient and impactful market media buys.
Team & Agency Management
- Lead a team of marketing professionals to successfully achieve annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
- Manage our full-service in-house agency, overseeing daily operations for digital showrooms, video production, social media, online strategies, and event management.
- Direct reports include Photographers, a Videographer, a Digital Marketing Specialist, and a Marketing Coordinator.
- Manage a complex set of over forty vendors monthly to ensure advertising consistency and maximum ROI across all seven brands.
- Responsible for the complete internal business unit, including budgeting and vendor management.
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute successful marketing initiatives, enhancing the company’s reputation and customer engagement.
Digital & Customer Experience Focus
- Spearhead digital marketing efforts, including website redesign, SEM/SEO strategy, and social media management, driving significant growth in online traffic and conversions.
- Create compelling campaigns for both video and online, as well as social media, for seven automotive franchises and the auto group campaign.
- Focus teams on continually increasing review scores across both service and sales departments to enhance the customer experience from awareness to purchase.
- Drive continuous improvement of the overall customer experience across all touchpoints.
Compliance and Administration
- Must be able to learn the legalities of automotive advertising in the state of Virginia and follow all FTC rules for both truth-in-lending and retail promises to consumers.
- Previous experience with co-op reimbursement is a significant plus.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and strong time management skills are paramount.
Community & Brand Building
* Manage and maximize the exposure of the Casey charitable giving initiatives through the established "Casey in Our Community" platform and brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director, preferably within the multi-franchise automotive industry or a high-volume retail environment.
- Track record of managing and leading a robust marketing team and/or in-house agency.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including performance marketing, content strategy, and website optimization.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Deep understanding of the automotive Tier 3 advertising structure.
