Job Description

Full time salary position

• Responsible for oversight and management of the nursing department.

• Responsible for the day-to-day provision of patient care and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with best practices and within the requirements set forth by the New York State Department of Health.

• Responsible for ensuring agency medical compliance with DOH LHCSA and TBI/NHTD Wavier regulations

• Responsible for overseeing and teaching PCA Training Program, Orientation and Annual In-Service Trainings, as needed

• Responsible for holding own case load of up to 3 clients

• Prefer experience with Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Dementia patients

• Must have home care experience

• Must have strong management experience

• Must be an independent worker

• Must have strong leadership abilities

• Hours are 7:30 am-4 pm, Mon-Fri; Must be flexible when Agency needs arise.

Hybrid position 1 day a week remote. Must be in position for 6 weeks for required in office training period at start of employment before remote is put in place.

Field work required

• Travel Required

• Salary includes weekly gas stipend

• Be available for Nurse On-Call rotation to give guidance to On-Call supervisor regarding any medical concerns that arise during non-business hours.

Requirements –

Valid New York State driver's license

CPR certification required

Professional Registered Nurse with current unrestricted licensure. Must have 2 years of nursing experience, at least 1 year of which must be in the provision of home health services

Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred)
