Job Description

Roles and responsibilities include:

Prior to summer school-

• Oversee development of summer school courses and ensure courses align with One Schoolhouse course development standards
• Manage opening of summer school tasks which include: reviewing Course Maps, collecting and reviewing syllabi, ensuring resource list is up-to-date, updating Summer Welcome Parents page, and communicating with faculty around deadlines

During summer school-

• Direct the team of 15 part-time faculty members who teach a summer course for One Schoolhouse
• Oversee the operational tasks of the summer program which include: ensuring proper course management, administering summer school checklists, disseminating and evaluating student feedback surveys, communicating with faculty, overseeing the report card process, and ensuring the overall integrity of the Summer Academic Program
• Lead collaborative efforts with Manager, Student Success; engage directly with teachers, parents, and academic team members (as needed) to resolve high-level student support issues, including all academic integrity issues.

A bachelors’ degree is required. A successful candidate will have: worked in an independent school setting for at least four years; experience in a middle or upper school setting; and have managed a team. Successful applicants are excellent communicators across a variety of mediums, and are proficient in a range of computing skills.
