NYC Pooch, one of NYC's most loved and respected dog walking companies since 2002, is seeking Full-time Dog Walkers. We are immediately hiring Full-Time dog walkers in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

What is a typical day like for an NYC Pooch Dog Walker?

Our Full-Time walkers generally work from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. They are assigned to one specific area and usually walk the same dogs each day, forming a bond with each pup, and building a great rapport with each client.

Full- Time applicants must have the following availability: Monday - Friday, 10AM - 6PM, and must be able to commit for at least 8 months.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 years or older
• Must love dogs with an understanding and willingness to learn about their care
• Warm and caring personality
• Comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments
• Able to keep up with the physical demands of being on your feet and walking for much of the day
• Able to cope with inclement weather. (rain, snow, cold, or heat wave, we walk through it all)
• Patience with all sorts of doggy antics and behavior issues
• Honest and hardworking
• Punctual with excellent time management skills
• A strong work ethic
• A strong oral and written communicator
• Upbeat and personable
• Detail Oriented
• Want to be part of a fun and growing company
• Must have a smartphone and a portable phone charger
• Added plus if you own your own bike/skateboard/scooter
• Have a good understanding of transit logistics and time management in the city
