Job Title: Echo Technician (Flex/PRN/Part-Time/Full-Time)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Schedule: Flexible (PRN, Part-Time, and Full-Time Opportunities)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Echo Technician to join our dynamic team in a flexible capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures across multiple locations, working with diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, congenital, and CVOR cases. The role offers a strong safety and people-centric culture, with access to cutting-edge imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms using Philips IE33 and Epiq CVx equipment.

  • Document findings and maintain records using Epic EMR and Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular PACS .

  • Analyze and interpret diagnostic test results, providing preliminary reports to physicians.

  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.

  • Manage a workload of approximately 6-7 patients per day .

  • Work a rotating schedule across multiple locations.

  • Complete 6 weekend shifts per year as required.

  • Participate in on-call rotation with minimal call-back rates.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

  • Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards for patient care and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Certifications:

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross (Required).

    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) (Required).

  • Strong technical knowledge of echocardiographic equipment and procedures.

  • Ability to work across multiple locations with a flexible schedule.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
