Job Title: Echo Technician (Flex/PRN/Part-Time/Full-Time)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Schedule: Flexible (PRN, Part-Time, and Full-Time Opportunities)
We are looking for a dedicated Echo Technician to join our dynamic team in a flexible capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures across multiple locations, working with diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, congenital, and CVOR cases. The role offers a strong safety and people-centric culture, with access to cutting-edge imaging equipment.
Perform echocardiograms using Philips IE33 and Epiq CVx equipment.
Document findings and maintain records using Epic EMR and Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular PACS .
Analyze and interpret diagnostic test results, providing preliminary reports to physicians.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Manage a workload of approximately 6-7 patients per day .
Work a rotating schedule across multiple locations.
Complete 6 weekend shifts per year as required.
Participate in on-call rotation with minimal call-back rates.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards for patient care and safety.
Education: Associate’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross (Required).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) (Required).
Strong technical knowledge of echocardiographic equipment and procedures.
Ability to work across multiple locations with a flexible schedule.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
