Job Title: Echo Technician
Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures on a diverse patient population, including adult, pediatric, and congenital cases. The Echo Technician will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Perform echocardiograms following established protocols and guidelines.
Utilize Epic CVx and Canon Aplio 500 equipment for imaging procedures.
Document findings and maintain records using EPIC Medical Record and Phillips Intellispace Cardiovascular reporting system .
Analyze and interpret diagnostic test results, providing preliminary reports to physicians.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Participate in call rotation with minimal call-back rates.
Manage a workload of 6-7 patients per day (8-hour shift) or 7-9 patients per day (10-hour shift) .
Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards for patient care and safety.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
Education: Associate’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification (Required).
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) (Required).
Strong technical knowledge of echocardiographic equipment and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
