Position Overview:
Communiboost We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in planning, executing, and overseeing various events that align with our organization's goals and values. As an Event Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of event logistics from inception to completion, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.00 hourly
Location: Kansas City, MO

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events from concept to completion within budget and on schedule.
• Coordinate logistics for events including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and clients to ensure successful collaboration.
• Market events through effective promotional strategies, utilizing online and offline channels.
• Collaborate with team members to design event programs and agendas that align with objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate event outcomes, gathering feedback to improve future events.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a professional environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
• Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to think on your feet and adapt.
