Role Overview

As an Events Assistant , you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events. You’ll work closely with our events team to ensure smooth logistics, assist in on-site event operations, and contribute to the overall success of each project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the events industry while developing valuable organizational and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, from concept to completion.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, and attendee management .
• Support the marketing and promotion of events through social media, email campaigns, and digital outreach.
• Help create event materials , such as signage, programs, and presentations.
• Communicate with vendors, speakers, and guests to ensure a seamless event experience.
• Provide on-site support during events, handling last-minute adjustments and assisting with crowd management.
• Conduct post-event evaluations , gathering feedback and assisting with reporting.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our events.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business , or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related role (internships or volunteer experience count!).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills – you can juggle multiple projects with ease.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities – you can handle challenges with a cool head.
• A passion for creating memorable experiences and a keen eye for detail .
• Ability to work flexible hours , including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
• Experience with event software, project management tools, or social media platforms is a plus.
