Independent Service Provider with FedEx Ground (R2 Fusion Inc.), is looking for qualified and responsible drivers to operate a 26-foot box truck . Seeking full-time drivers for shifts ranging from Monday through Sunday. Terminal is located in Mesquite and all routes deliver to the Plano area. Salaries range from $750 to $950 (5-day work week) and are based on experience & production. Good customer service skills are a must. These positions require some heavy lifting up to 150lbs and can be labor intensive at times so being physically fit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport packages of different sizes/weight for a bulk route to designated locations in Plano
• Adhere to routes and time schedules; collect pick-ups within designated windows
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance
• Complete logs and safety reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Applicant Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year delivery driver experience and clean driving record
• Driver experience must be within the past 2 years
• Must have valid drivers license and be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a clean background and able to pass drug test
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job
• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Must have a good attitude and good customer service skills
• Must be honest and hard working
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 150 pounds
• Must be available to work on a Saturday or a Sunday of each week
