Job Description

PB Logistics Inc is an independent contractor for FedEx in Colorado Springs, CO. We are located on 125 Troy Hill Rd.

We are looking to hire  regular full time or part time drivers  with work related package delivery driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries in the Greater Colorado Springs area. Our ideal candidates are attentive, self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Schedule: 4 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours (varies)

Monday - Friday

Tuesday - Saturday

Thursday - Monday

Sunday - Thursday

Requirements, Driver must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a valid Colorado driver’s license
• Clean driving record per DMV no DUIs
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued possible random drug screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical and renew every two years
• Complete a driver training program including classroom and on the road tasks prior to solo driving and delivering
• Prefer drivers with prior delivery driver experience in the last three years
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with a dollie / hand truck
• Pass FedEx criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work
• Be on time and ready to work each work day
• Be able to climb stairs and get in and out of truck at least 200 times per day
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Your vehicle must be always operated safely
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform 100 and up to 200 stops a day
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
• Adhere to uniform and FedEx daily delivery standards
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

License/Certification:

• Colorado Driver's License (Must)
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate (Preferred for Delivery Vans above 10,000 lbs GVWR)

Work Location:

• Dispatch from FedEx Station and then On the road
