  Summary:

The successful candidate will inspect fire sprinklers to determine if the system meets the requirements of the job and to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and completes an Inspection report to record the findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run test and inspect fire sprinkler systems
  • Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response to testing.
  • Repair system if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs
  • Advise customer of test and inspection results
  • Complete inspection and deficiencies report
  • Assess material quantities and part numbers for post-inspection repairs
  • Requires excellent communication skills with your Area Coordinator as requested for inspections completed, rescheduling, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required
Requirements and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
  • Must have 2 years' experience inspecting installed fire sprinkler systems or alarm systems
  • NICET I sprinkler systems inspections, Level II desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug test
