What You’ll Do

Your future starts here! Royal is currently hiring for our Foam department which supplies foam accessories to injection molding products; primarily for our automotive and furniture customers. The right person is able to follow operator instructions, inspect parts and work in a fast paced environment. This position is open 3rd (12am-8am) shif t. Based out of our Cullman, AL facility, this position reports to the Foam Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stretching and reaching up and down to spray a mold release solution on plastic molds
• Removing parts from plastic foam molds and inspecting for any imperfections
• Following work instructions (both visual and written)
• Completing necessary paperwork
• Involvement in Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements

Skills & Requirements

• Self directed, takes initiative and possess good time management skills
• Completion of required production paperwork
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
• Attention to detail 
• Proven attendance and quality track record

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks 8+ hours/day
• Lifting up to 35lbs 
• Frequent bending, stretching and reaching
• Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task and handle product
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses
• Starting Wage: $20.900/hour + quarterly bonuses 

What You’ll Bring

• Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience 
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Able to lift 35 lbs
• Ability to work 3rd (12am-8am) shift
