Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring for Equipment Operators / Forklift Operators in Wilkes-Barre, PA  for the True Value Distribution Center. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Operator / Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products and materials.
• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring all items are handled with care.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Equipment Operator in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects 50-75 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and Walking 8 or more hours per day, walking 5 to 10 miles a day 
• Occasional lifting and lowering of 50-75lbs  
• Frequent / repetitive lifting and lowering of 20-50lbs  
• Balancing, Stair Climbing, Crouching, Bending, Twisting, Kneeling, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Sitting, Stooping, Visual Acuity. 
• Able to work all overtime hours.   
• Normal physical agility, which includes the ability to maneuver body while in place.    
• Normal physical mobility, which includes movement from place-to-place on the job taking distances and speed into account.   
• Able to work with hands and fingers, typing, holding, grasping, and turning. 
• Normal endurance to complete the essential functions of the position. 

Work Environment: 

• Distribution warehouse environment.
• The work is typically active and physical in nature and requires normal accessibility to all work sites required of the position. The position may require extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. 
• Wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety vests/Hi-Viz clothing, as required.
