Connect Staffing  is actively recruiting skilled candidates for Cherry Picker  Forklift Operator in the Greater Houston area.  

Schedule: 1st shift 

Requirements:

• Must have 6 months of recent work history within the last year.
• Previous experience operating a forklift, especially a cherry picker, is required.
• Must pass background, drug screen, and E-Verify
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking orders.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus!
• Must have related experience in light industrial work such as food production, warehouse, lumber yards, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities may include:

• Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick orders and transport materials throughout the warehouse. 
• Safely load and unload goods from racks, shelves, and pallets using the cherry picker.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring all items are stored correctly and accurately logged.
• Perform order picking, packing, and staging for shipping.
• Ensure proper documentation for inventory and shipments is maintained.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies when operating equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
