Title: Front End Engineer

Location: Philippines (REMOTE)

Duration: 12+ months (Possible Extension)

Shift: Mid-shift: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM Philippines time

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Looking for a highly motivated individual with proven skills to deliver a superior user experience for our enterprise business clients. The ideal candidate has previous experience with multiple front-end frameworks and paradigms but isn't tied to any one exclusively.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience building web applications using multiple frameworks during that time. Recent experience should include a more modern paradigm like Vue, React or something similar.
• Strong CSS skills, including experience with tools like Less or Sass.
• Experience delivering front-end software that is correct, stable, and security compliant.
• Attention to detail and an understanding of what makes a good user experience.
• Experience in a Git-based development environment with standard work management tooling.
• Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action. You love to build new things and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate.
• Ability to implement from minimal visual design guidelines/prototypes. Design resources on the team are limited; some items may need to be implemented from written or verbal requirements directly without the benefit of extensive wire frames or prototypes.
• Extensive experience with UI testing.

Example Tasks/Workflows:

Feature Delivery:

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to grasp product requirements, engage with developers across teams on updating component library, coding and unit testing while keeping close coordination with QA on browser-based automation.

Required Proficiencies:

• Leverage the latest web technologies to develop rich but intuitive and easy-to-use front ends for existing and new products.
• Work with our product team to iterate on designs and user experience flows.
• Work as part of an independent, cross-functional squad to deliver critical client-facing and admin portal features across the organization.
• Build reusable, testable code that will help drive engineering maturity and efficiency. Testing is very important to us.
