Contra Costa Powersports is a full service Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki/Zero motorcycle dealership serving Contra Costa County and surrounding areas. We are looking for a full time mechanic (technician) with a minimum of 1 year dealership experience. The ideal candidate will have solid technical and mechanical skills regarding work on motorcycles, ATV's and Scooters.
Our intent is for this to be a permanent long term position with the dealership. We are not looking for someone just for the spring or summer. Since we opened 9 years ago, we have kept all of our mechanics busy thru the entire winter season. This is a big plus.
Some of the skills we are looking for include:
Ability to perform routine maintenance on any product sold in the dealership.
Ability to do pre-delivery inspections of new units
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to push motorcycles weighing up to 800 lbs.
Ability to use power tools with both hands to perform work.
Hold a valid drivers license with M1 endorsement.
Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department.
Follow departmental dress codes and be well groomed at all times.
Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
