Job Overview: As a Graphic Designer and Website Developer at Embark Business Solutions, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and developing user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and client expectations. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and content teams to bring creative concepts to life and ensure seamless integration of graphics and website functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and create graphics for digital and print materials, including advertisements, social media posts, brochures, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites using Wix, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and design visually compelling marketing campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in design and brand identity across all digital and print materials.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, web development technologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in graphic design, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Website Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of web development languages, including Wix, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Wix and UX/UI design principles.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic understanding of backend technologies and databases.
