Key Responsibilities:

· Operate helicopters (primarily Airbus AS350 B2/B3) in a variety of mountain flying roles such as external load (e.g., rescue, utility), heli-skiing, search & rescue, remote-access drop-offs/pick-ups, and other utility/charter missions.

· Conduct pre-flight planning and risk assessment, including mountain/weather analysis, route planning, load calculations, weight and balance, external load rigging (if applicable), and flight-crew briefings.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation and safety regulations (e.g., medical/ licence requirements, regulatory standards, company safety procedures).

· Provide high-quality client service for charter, scenic, lodge-transfer and adventure operations; ensure client instructions and expectations are met in a professional, safety-conscious manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid Transport Canada Helicopter Pilot Licence
  • 500+ hours of AS350 flight experience
  • Proven experience in mountain flying / external load / utility / charter operations (ideally including operations similar to heli-skiing, lodge transfers, mountain rescue, external load, or remote-area service)
  • Strong knowledge of mountain/weather conditions and ability to perform safe mountain operations (mountain terrain, weather analysis, load-balance calculations, external load rigging if required).
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and client-service orientation.
