Hospital Credentialing Specialist

$45,000 - $65,000/Yr + Signing Bonus / Paid Relocation Available + Full Benefits

Full-time / In-Office Position

Glenwood Springs, CO

Seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist to assist our busy Medical Staff Office as a Medical Staff Specialist. Responsibilities include assisting the Medical Staff Director with all Medical Staff Office credentialing files (both Initial Appointment and Reappointment files) and other clerical tasks. The Medical Staff Specialist also assists with coordinating the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Medical Staff Director with all Medical Staff Office credentialing files (Initial Appointment and Reappointment files)
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed
  • Coordinate the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program

Requirements

  • Process driven with strong organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
  • Credentialing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Two years computer use experience in a business office setting
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
