Baker & McKenzie seeks a business immigration attorney (non-track) to join the Employment & Compensation Practice Group in our Chicago Office to work on a high volume of global and U.S. immigration cases. Draft, prepare and assemble business NIV and IV petitions, including RFE responses. Draft client communications. Use internal case management tools to manage multiple assignments. Stay current on emerging legislation and assess its impact on our clients’ businesses. The candidate must be client service minded and have exceptional analytical, organizational, and case management skills, and the ability to simultaneously handle many tasks concurrently. Top academic credentials, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication and writing skills required. One to three years of experience w/US business immigration required. Global immigration experience a plus. Must provide a writing sample and be admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois bar. This position is bonus eligible and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) based on number of hours worked. The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $130,000 to $145,000 annually if located in an office in the state of Illinois.
