Our client, a highly regarded boutique law firm located in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a talented Immigration Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. The firm is known for its personalized client service and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes in complex immigration matters.
Position Overview:
The Immigration Litigation Attorney will handle a diverse caseload of immigration litigation matters, providing high-quality legal representation to clients facing immigration challenges. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have a minimum of 2 years of immigration litigation experience, and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in immigration court and before administrative bodies.
- Manage a caseload involving deportation defense, asylum claims, cancellation of removal, waivers, and other immigration litigation matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding immigration matters.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
- Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and trends to provide informed legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar (Florida bar preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration litigation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
