The  Inside Sales Representative  is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to current customers in a fast-paced environment. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication, and utilizing internal systems to track sales, account activities, and customer service requests​. The representative will also assist in supporting field trainers, managing records, supporting accounts as assigned and ensuring a seamless customer experience through proactive follow-ups​. Success in this position requires proficiency in task management, strong telephone skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic sales team. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and Document Outbound Sales Calls – Proactively engage with existing customers via outbound calls to promote products, provide sales support, and enhance customer relationships.
• Conduct and Document Inbound Customer Inquiries – Respond to customer calls with professionalism, addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Process and Prepare Orders – Accurately enter and manage customer orders, Field Trainer orders, track shipments, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests efficiently
• Respond to Customer Emails – Provide timely and professional responses to customer emails regarding orders, account inquiries, and general support needs.
• Engage in Professional Development – Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and skill-building initiatives to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree, or equivalent experience, preferred

• Minimum of up to 2 years customer support and/or account coordination experience or equivalent

• Microsoft Office, excel, word a plus. Prior SAP experience also preferred.
