Job Description

Interior Designer - Level 2

Full-time Position

C2 Design Group is currently seeking an Interior Designer (Level 2) that has experience in schematics and design development. The Interior Designer will work in a collaborative environment leading programming, space planning, material palette/furniture selections and develop graphics for client presentations.

The qualified candidate will follow direction from a principal or project manager and assist project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead interior fit-up projects with a focus on programming and space planning
  • Assist with all phases of a project from schematic design to construction documents
  • Assist with field measurements, documenting existing building conditions to draft/model base plans
  • Perform architectural assignments including preparation of plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules
  • Assist with project and materials research
  • Prepare presentation materials and design boards
  • Can create Families of required components within the illustrations
  • Attend in-house team meetings
  • Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standard

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts, Interior Design
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a designer at an architecture firm
  • Possess a high level of expertise, knowledge, and thorough understanding of current industry software including but not limited to: Lumion, Revit, Bluebeam PDF Review, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Desire to learn and be part of a collaborative design team
  • Focused on ARE or NCIDQ certification

Salary

  • $50,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications or licensure.
