Job Description

Deliver exceptional diagnostic and treatment services to patients with heart disease, spanning both clinical consultations and procedural interventions.

  • Main hospital campus has 2 state of the art, fully functional, cath labs
    • Candidate would have dedicated weekly lab schedule
    • Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (with intra-system referral support for Structural Heart Disease interventions)
    • TEE and Cardioversion
  • APP's support both inpatient and outpatient care settings
  • Inpatient/ Outpatient: Consultations, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography
  • Responsibilities of interpreting echo's, nuclear medicine testing, remote heart monitors, stress testing, and pacemaker clinics.
  • Our hospital and outpatient offices are uniquely positioned geographically to serve 5 surrounding counties. This broad catchment area offers small city and rural communities, which is makes Easton the gem of the eastern shore.

At Shore Medical Group at Easton, a member of University of Maryland Medical System, we are seeking a candidate to Join our dynamic team housed within the esteemed Cardiology Services, consisting of 9 Cardiologists and 5 Advanced Practice Practitioners.

The ideal candidate will bring their robust background in interventional cardiology, embodying our core values of dedication, collaboration, and patient-centric care. This role demands a high level of expertise in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases, underscored by a commitment to utilizing interventional techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from accredited institution
  • Board Certification in Cardiology, with completed fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
  • Valid (or able to obtain) Maryland State Medical License
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in interventional cardiology, including fellowship

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $689,455 to $854,283 annually
  • Other Compensation (if applicable): Generous sign on Bonus $20-25K or housing allowance of $50K towards the purchase of a home in the first year, generous relocation assistance up to 10K, sign on bonus, and a production bonus
