Inventory and Shipping Specialist

Be the backbone of our operations! This key part-time role focuses on managing inventory, ensuring timely and accurate shipping, and keeping our warehouse running efficiently. You’ll also oversee the coordination of remote assembly teams, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment within a growing small business, values attention to detail, and enjoys making an impact through quality and efficiency.

 

What You’ll Do:

1. Inventory Management

• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking raw materials and finished goods in our Minnesota warehouse.

2. Packing, Shipping & Receiving Operations

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to meet quality and quantity standards.
• Handle all aspects of outbound shipping to Amazon, including packing, palletizing, and compliance with Amazon’s guidelines.
• Box and case pack all products.
• Resolve any shipping or carrier issues to keep operations running smoothly.

3. Assembly Coordination

• Oversee work-from-home assembly teams, ensuring they receive the necessary materials and meet quality expectations.
• Monitor and replenish assembly supplies to prevent delays in production.

What We’re Looking For

• Detail-Oriented : You excel at maintaining accuracy in inventory, shipping, and assembly coordination.
• Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using inventory management systems, shipping software, and basic computer tools to streamline operations.
• Physically Capable : Able to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
• Highly Organized : Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, from inventory checks to shipping deadlines, with efficiency and focus.
• Problem-Solver : Quick to identify and resolve issues with inventory, shipping, or assembly processes.

Location:
You will be working from a co-warehouse facility that is climate controlled. We have our own secure unit within this building.
