The Inventory Control Tech Sr. Manager is responsible for management of the Inventory Management operations and strategy. This role must keep abreast of changes in clinical supply inventory and procedures related to clinical departments. Oversight includes all Fred Hutch sites of care, including community sites.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory levels and accuracy by developing and implementing inventory control procedures and strategies.Improve inventory efficiency by analyzing inventory data (provided by supply chain analysts) and trends and identifying areas of improvement, such as minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Work with cross-functional Supply Chain teams, such as purchasing, sourcing, quality assurance and logistics, to manage inventory effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to establish and maintain effective relations with these teams ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of clinical supplies.
  • Educate and oversee inventory control technician managers and supervisors, ensuring compliance with inventory management procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, trends, regulations and emerging technologies in clinical supply chain inventory management and incorporate relevant advancements into the company's supply chain strategies and operations.
  • Implement inventory control systems if required and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies and goals for inventory accuracy to support overall Supply Chain business objectives.
  • Plans, organizes, and sets goals for the inventory technician managers and supervisors to best utilize personnel to achieve long and short-term goals.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of financial implications of inventory management decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve inventory control objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret inventory data to drive meaningful insights and improvements.

Preferred:

  • Experience in inventory management in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience as an Inventory Control Manager or similar role in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution setting.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $97,552.00 to $154,148.80 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

This position may be eligible for relocation.
