MS-IL Staffing & Packaging , and its local client, are NOW HIRING a 1st shift temp-to-hire Inventory Specialist in the Lebanon, Indiana, area!

Pay: $21.00 / hour

Shift: 1st, 8:30AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday

Job Overview:

An inventory associate is responsible for maintaining accurate records of a company's inventory levels by performing cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting inventory data to management, all while adhering to safety guidelines and optimizing storage space within a warehouse setting, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels, including manual counting and using handheld scanners
• Inputting inventory data into the company's management system, including quantity, location, and product details.
• Operator various stand-up forklift such as Order picker, Reach and Dock stocker.
• Identifying and correcting discrepancies in inventory levels, investigating causes of shortages or overages.
• Complete training in all areas of the distribution process.
• Use of warehouse management systems
• Use of RF scanne

Job Requirements & Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in distribution center inventory management
• 1 - 2 years of prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is required
• Forklift Operator operation experience is required
• Not afraid of heights
• Can understand the English Language for training
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service skills

Physical Requirements: 

• Can lift to 5 to 50 lbs. Walk 8-10 hours shift.

Personal protective equipment:

• Steel toe safety boots, gloves.

Onboarding & Training: 

• Associates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced leads for on-the-job training and support.
