We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Information Technology (IT) manager to join our team. The IT Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at all of the organization’s locations. This includes directing all IT operations to meet the technological needs of our site staff as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. This individual will travel to other organization locations. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Improves desktop hardware and software processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, installation, vendor selection, maintenance and repair of desktop equipment and network services.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements.
  • Installs hardware and peripheral components.
  • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems.
  • Administer email and anti-virus systems.
  • Minimizes organizational cost by being 1st contact for maintaining repairing and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software packages.
  • Leads multiple projects and oversees IT/Telecom work performed by vendors to ensure that client specifications are met.
  • Oversees and determines time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
  • Is responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function including maintaining records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves user issues related to all corporate software in a timely manner.
  • Runs regular checks on network and data security and conducts regular system audits.
  • Conducts end-user training and creates training or procedure manuals as required.
  • Researches, establishes, and maintains best practices for the organization's network and software configuration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility This position supervises a computer systems technician. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline or 8 or more years of professional Information Technology management experience.
  • Certification on MCSE and/or CCNA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in planning and organizing projects.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and other software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License, vehicle, insurance and safe driving record.
