**Job ID Number** R5634 **Employment Type** Full time **Worksite Flexibility** Remote **Job Summary** As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will facilitate Zoom and Teams transitions, migrate Intune and JAMF configurations, utilize PowerShell scripting, manage VMWare assets to AWS, and ensure smooth operations across diverse hardware and software environments. **Job Description** We are looking for a **IT Systems and Support Specialist** **.** This position will be **full-time** and **remote** **.** CAI is seeking a skilled, ambitious, and self-driven candidate to assist us on a 6-12 basis with the possibility to extend further. This position will float between many different tech stacks to ensure simultaneously running projects remain on track. A successful candidate must be adaptable and able to quickly switch roles as different projects evolve. **What** **You'll** **Do** + Facilitate the transition and integration of Zoom and Teams environments, ensuring feature parity in meeting, webinar, town hall, phone, and conference room setups + Migrate Intune and JAMF configurations/devices to new tenants using Apple Business Manager and Apple Configurator app + Utilize PowerShell scripting for custom investigations and actions + Migrate VMWare assets to AWS, focusing on EC2 and FSx instances + Audit user activity on Windows file servers and upload data to SharePoint programmatically + Dismount/remove conferencing hardware and derack/rack servers and switches + Execute Office 365 bulk changes, including UPN updates and renaming groups/DLs + Assist with cross-team projects, draft employee communications, and create/update internal documentation + Configure, test, and maintain SSO & User Provisioning via Entra as IdP **What You'll Need** Required + Proven experience in desktop support and technical migrations + Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager, Apple Configurator, and PowerShell + Excellent communication skills for teamwork and documentation + Ability to manage and troubleshoot diverse hardware and software environments Preferred + Zoom & Teams, specifically transitioning to/from one or both + Experience with O365 applications like Power Automate, Bookings + Experience with device management, lifecycle, and migrations via InTune and/or JAMF + Able to write, debug, deploy, and track custom Powershell scripts + Migrating and testing/verifying VMWare assets to AWS, primarily with EC2, FSx, and S3 + Windows file server experience, primarily auditing user activity and moving data programmatically + Ability to dismount/remove conferencing hardware (cameras, soundbar, etc) + Ability and experience with deracking/racking equipment (server, switch, firewall, UPS, PDU) + O365 bulk changes and management- + Solid communication skills and prior experience drafting employee communications and creating internal documentation + Experience working across multiple departments, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders + SAML & OIDC SSO, SCIM and custom PowerShell user provisioning **Physical Demands** + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor The pay range for this position is $40.00- $45.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
