Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of solar energy projects while ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the renewable energy industry, this is the perfect entry level position to kick start your solar career.

Your work will contribute to the successful delivery of innovative solar solutions to our clients, making an impact on the clean energy landscape. This position is in office at our Lexington, Kentucky office.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities and liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Help maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Participate in regular project meetings and assist in preparing status reports.
• Identify potential project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Support project managers in day-to-day activities and help resolve issues as they arise.
• Conduct research and gather information to support project objectives.
• Continuously seek to learn and develop project management skills in a hands-on environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Some experience in project management, internships, or related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of project management tools and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
