Role: Lab Technician/ Product Tester

Location: Onsite, Saddle Brook, NJ

Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension and conversion)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Organizing tools and recategorizing equipment
• Setting up the bench
• Will be working on 2-3 projects assisting with:
• Testing controls
• Follow test plans
• Read technical documents, writing diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions.
• Assemble products for various purposes, coordinate requisitioning of required parts.
• Assist in product design of valve monitoring devices.
• Build and set up test equipment and prototype units
• Prepare and conduct experiments, recording results.
• Use electrical and mechanical lab equipment (signal generators, counters, air supply, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 2-year associate's degree in engineering or science
• 2+ years' experience in a related industry preferred
• Mechanical engineering experience
• Basic PC skills.
• M365
• Proprietary software
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong schematics experience
• Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, debuggers and/or emulation tools
• Experience in bread boarding and soldering of printed circuit boards a plus
• Light Soldering
• Strong written and verbal skills, able to professionally interact with suppliers, customers, and shop floor personnel.
• Good basic Engineering math and calculation skills.
